Clarence Aden Osborn, Jr.'s Obituary
Clarence Aden Osborn, Jr., of Bluejacket, Okla., passed away Monday, July 29, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was 70 years old.
He was born in Searcy, Arkansas on August 24, 1948 to Clarence Aden Osborn, Sr. and Opal (Hancock) Osborn. He was a high school graduate, who, after graduation, attended NEO A&M College in Miami, obtaining his associates degree. He then attended NSU in Tahlequah where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree.
On April 27, 1974, he married the love of his life, the former Sandra Hollandsworth, in a ceremony in Vinita. He worked a number of years at Eastern State Hospital before becoming a Tax Compliance Officer for the State of Oklahoma, retiring after 36 years of service. In his spare time, he loved fishing, junking, and playing bingo.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Holly Anna Osborn; a sister, Laveita Ogden; and a brother, Leon Osborn.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra, of the home; 4 children, Gregory Aden Osborn and wife Rebecca of Ashford, Alabama, Angela Osborn of Bluejacket, Clarence Aden Osborn, III of Bluejacket, and Scott Osborn and wife Amanda of Welch; 3 siblings, Ronnie Osborn, Laneita Chamberlain, and Donna Fowler; 7grandchildren, Missy, Michaela, Devan, Jacqueline, Holly Chandra, Nathaniel, and Nicholas Osborn; 2 great grandchildren, Guthrie and Greyson; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 1, 2019 at the Thomas & Chenoweth Funeral Home in Welch. The family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Pastor Skip McClain will officiate.
