Clara Belle Hickman's Obituary
Clara Belle Hickman, 77, a longtime Miami resident passed away on Saturday Morning, April 6, 2019. Clara was born August 7, 1941 in Craig County near Welch to Theodore Clair and Mabel May (Ellsworth) Hickman. She graduated from Bluejacket High School in 1959 and had attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. She enjoyed eating out, music, bingo, dominoes (Especially when she won) and loved family gatherings. She attended Immanuel Baptist Church. Clara worked at several places in Miami through the years some included Dumas Manufacturing, J.C. Penney, Thunderbird Motel, Townsman Motel, First National Bank, several restaurants and Dean’s Variety Store. Miss Hickman was preceded in passing by her parents.
Clara’s Family is her three sisters Rama Jean Covey and her late husband Henry Covey, Alice Marie Dixon and her late husband Joe Dixon, Shirley D. Hickman, two nieces Janet Ruiz and her late husband Robert Ruiz and Julie Brown along with her great-nieces and nephews Jason Ruiz and his wife Jill, Becci Sutton and her husband Chad, Melodie Ruiz and Mike Boyce, Justin Brown and Jared Brown great great nieces and nephews Jolene, Zoe, Sadie, Connor, Mason, Aniya, Jace and Levi, and a late great great nephew Christian.
Visitation for Clara will be 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Brown-Winters Funeral home and Cremation Service on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.
Graveside services will follow at 2:30PM at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita with Pastors Claude C Craig and Mark Nickles officiating.
Services are under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
