Chuck Donald Price's Obituary
Chuck D. Price, 81, went to be with his heavenly Father on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Landmark Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Mr. Price was born March 11, 1934 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Charlie Larry and Doris (Smith) Price. Chuck joined the United States Marine Corp in July of 1953, he served one tour of duty in Korea. He later married his wife of almost fifty years Frances McCroskey on November 25, 1966. Chuck was a school teacher for many years before his retirement. He preached and pastored at several churches in Northeastern Oklahoma. Mr. Price was preceded in passing by his parents Charlie and Doris Price a brother Jerry Allen and a sister Saundra Deason.
He is survived by his wife Frances Price of the home, his children Matt Alan Price of Kansas City, Missouri, Dana Lyn Morisset and her husband Jeff of Miami, Robyn Beth Gordon of Nixa, Missouri, Mark Wade Price and his wife Le Ann of Springfield, Missouri and Mead Wayne Price and his wife Lisa of Ozark, Missouri. Chuck is also survived by his grandchildren, Ashley Price, Kelli Price, Matti Price, Derek Price, Kyle Morisset, Kendall Morisset, Kallie Morisset, Kade Morisset, Noah Gordon, Aaron Gordon, Nathan Price, Eli Price, Isabelle Price, Jonathan Price, Luke Price and Emily Price along with his other relative and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
Celebration of Life services will be 10:00 AM on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Southern Hills Baptist Church in Miami with Pastor Mead Price officiating. Interment will follow at the Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery in Miami under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
