Christopher Jon Sandel's Obituary
Christopher Jon Sandel, 47, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa after an illness. He was born May 30, 2017 in Pasadena, CA to Larry Loren Sandel and Harriette Symcovitz. He was an accomplished writer, most recently publishing articles in "This Land" magazine. He was an accomplished MMA Fighter and was a former World Champion in Jujitsu. He is survived by his father, Larry Sandel of Ventura, CA; his mother and step father, Harriette and Mike Long of Monkey Island, OK; one son, Warren Sandel of Chicago, IL; one daughter, Olivia Miller of Harrah, OK; one brother, Danny Sandel of Albuquerque, NM; one sister, Deanne Sandel of Massachusetts; one sister in law, Carol Sandel of Albuquerque, NM; along with a host of very good friends. A service celebrating his life will be held in Tulsa at a later date, where family and friends will gather for a time of sharing memories of Christopher.
