Charles Ewing's Obituary
Charles Ewing, 71, a resident of Miami passed away at his home on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Mr. Ewing was born on March 3, 1953 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Clifford Charles Ewing and Ida Lou (Lewis) Morgan. Charles worked on building site construction, he had also worked in the oil fields which he really enjoyed. Charles played the drums as a studio musician, but couldn't pass up a piano, he loved to play the piano. He was a proud father, he didn't talk to many without telling them about his children and that he had one child that was a cop and one that was in the military. Charles was preceded in passing by his father Clifford Ewing.
Survivors include his wife Mary (Jeffries) Ewing, his children Cynthia Edwards of Claremore, Carol Anne Elliott of Grandview, Texas and Clifford Lyle Ewing of Claremore, his grandchildren Kayla Lee Whiteaker, Anna Belle Whiteaker, Kevin Titus Edwards, Kenneth Robbie Elliott and Caydenc Elliott, along with his silbings Clifford Wayne Ewing, Marlene Birdwell, Retha Brown and Jerrita Redding.
Mr. Ewing's wishes were for cremation. Cremation services were placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
