Carole Ann Pallissard's Obituary
Carole Ann Pallissard , 78, of Welch, Oklahoma passed from this life on Friday, May 16, 2025. Carole was born November 19, 1946 to John and Alene Grigsby in Welch, OK.
Carole was married to Jim Pallissard on October 17, 1981. They have 4 daughters, Angie Jackson (Greg) of Racine, MO, Jamee Romero (Mike) of Edmond, OK, Trisha George of Miami, OK and Megan Sullivan (Abel) of Hugoton, KS.
Carole grew up attending Welch Public Schools. She spent many years working at Welch State Bank before returning to NEO A&M College earning a nursing degree. She worked as an RN in orthopedics at St. John's in Joplin, MO, before retiring in 2011. Carole loved her years of nursing, her colleagues and caring for her patients. After retiring Carole continued doing what she did best, caring for family members and enjoying her grandkids. She is remembered as a wonderful mom, wife and sister, the best Memaw, and a great nurse and caregiver always putting others ahead of herself and ensuring her loved ones were taken care of. She grew up in the Welch Christian Church, often singing with The Christianettes. She had many fond memories of attending Christian Service Camp at Roaring River with her parents and brothers during her childhood. She later attended First Christian Church in Miami where she had many friends and also enjoyed the trips she and Jim had taken with them.
Carole was preceded in death by her parents John and Alene Grigsby, in-laws PJ and Marietta Pallissard, and her brother and sister-in-law Steve and Kay Grigsby.
Carole is survived by her husband Jim, of the home; her daughters and sons-in-law Angie and Greg, Jamee and Mike, Trisha and Megan and Abel; 10 grandchildren including Katelyn (Jackson) Bright, Myles Jackson, Bryce Jackson, Layne (Jackson) Holland, Daniel and Libby Romero, Asher George, and Autry, Rowan and Aksel Sullivan; and 2 great granddaughters, Diana Bright and Blakely Jackson; along w/ siblings and in-laws Mark and Sharon Grigsby and Mary and Hank Prideaux.
Services for Carole will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at First Christian Church in Miami, OK at 2:00 with visitation before the service at 1:00. Leon Weece will officiate. Carole will be laid to rest at the Welch Cemetery following the services. Casket bearers will be Myles Jackson, Bryce Jackson, Daniel Romero, Asher George, Autry Sullivan, Rowan Sullivan, Aksel Sullivan, Dax Grigsby, Davis Grigsby, Sutton Grigsby, Brody Grigsby, Gavin Grigsby, Guthrie Grisby, Sawyer Grigsby, Gus Grigsby, Hollis Grigsby, Parker Grigsby, and Graham Grigsby.
Services are entrusted to the Thomas & Chenoweth Funeral Home in Welch.
