Carol A. Jeffries' Obituary
Carol Anne (Todd) Jeffries passed away on March 23, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. She was 73 years old. She was born May 6, 1940 in Jerico Springs, MO, the daughter of Guy and Cuba Todd. She graduated from Stockton High School, Stockton, MO in 1958. Carol was saved and a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Jerico Springs, MO. She married Darrel D. Jeffries on May 17, 1958 in Stockton, MO. They lived in Lamar, MO until they moved to Miami, Oklahoma. She worked as a bookkeeper for B & B Auto Supply in Miami for over 25 years. She always had a passion for growing vegetables in her garden and cooking. Carol is survived by her husband, Darrel, of the home; a daughter, Sandy Bales and son-in-law Charles Kaprolet, of Mesa, Arizona; and a son, Kevin Jeffries and daughter-in-law Teresa Jeffries, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri. She is also survived by two grandchildren: Rochelle Sharbutt, of Miami; and Crystal Bryant, of Dresden, Maine, along with two great-grandchildren, Victoria and Danni Bryant. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Cuba Todd; two brothers: Kenneth Todd and Robert Todd; a brother-in-law, Robert Davis, and a son-in-law, Danny Bales.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami. Following the Visitation there will be a graveside service at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens on Hwy 10, Miami at 11:15 AM on Wednesday, 2014.
