Carol Eddings' Obituary
Carol Ann Eddings, 76, of Commerce, OK, passed to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Eastwood Manor in Commerce.
She was born March 2, 1943 to W.W. (Pete) and Ruth (Staton) Woodard. She was a graduate of Commerce High School, Class of 1961.
On August 26, 1961 she married Burt Eddings. He preceded her in death on October 8, 2005. She was also preceded by her parents.
Carol was genuine, loving, kind, considerate and caring to all that knew her.
Survivors include her children, Pam (Eddings) Waltz and Johnny Eddings of Commerce, OK, and Tammy Eddings; her sister, Judy Leggett of Wichita, KS; her step granddaughters, Christine and Ashlynn Waltz; her step great-granddaughter, Dil Mekler, who she adored and always brought a smile to her face; and several other loving family members and friends.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Southeast Baptist Church in Commerce. Geoff Buffalo will officiate. Serving as casket bearers will be Shawn Combs, Kevin Eddings, Larry Stanley, Jeremy Liss, Eric Chenoweth, and Luke McDugle.
Carol will be laid to rest next to her husband, Burt, in the G.A.R. Cemetery, Miami, OK.
