Carol Diane Burnshire's Obituary
Carol Diane Burnshire, 77, a resident of Quapaw passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021. Diane was born on June 8, 1944 in Duncan, Oklahoma to William Buford and Tressie Toylee (Hughes) Guthrie. She worked for years in different medical offices. Diane was a bit of a health nut and would work out. She was definitely a shopper, and would often times recruit her son into helping with some black Friday Shopping and enjoyed collecting angels. Mrs. Burnshire was preceded in passing by her parents William and Toylee Guthrie, her husband Joe Watson, her husband Michael Burnshire, a sister Shirley Guthrie, a grandchild Brooke Whitacker, a great grandchild Kia Whitacker.
Survivors include her son Kenneth Eugene Whitacker and his wife Debbie of Miami, son Shawn Zachary Watson and his wife Lisa of Joplin, a sister Paula Clarkson and her husband Kenneth of Chandler and a brother Jack Guthrie, her grandchildren Kenneth Cole Whitacker, William Watson, Katheryn Watson, Masey Coates, Logan Coates, great grandchildren Logan Marie Kleck, Alyssa Redfern, Riley Matthews, Ryliee Whitacker, Kaden Whitacker, Emmy Coates and a great great grandchild Brookes Redfern along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
Services will also be at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Interment will follow at Olympus Cemetery in Grove, Oklahoma
