Braydon Parker Scott's Obituary
Braydon Parker Scott was born November 12, 1997 in Claremore, Oklahoma. He passed away at his home on Sunday, April 23, 2017. He was nineteen. Braydon’s parents are Weston Scott and Catherine (Linn) and Brian Sparks. Braydon was attending First Assembly of God in Commerce; he had a tremendous love for God and exhibited that love in the way he lived his life. Braydon loved to make people happy, loved college and all different types of music. Braydon had worked for three years at Microtel in Miami where his co-workers/friends invited him to attend his church. He graduated Miami High School with the class of 2016; he was attending NEO A&M College with aspirations of becoming a registered nurse specifically working in pediatric rehabilitation. Braydon was preceded in passing by his maternal grandfather, Lonnie Linn.
Braydon is survived by his parents, Catherine and Brian Sparks of the home and Weston Scott of Adair, two sisters Nicole Linn of Miami and Brooke Cozart of Ketchum, step-sister Amy and Louis Mitchell of Austin, step-brother Brandon Sparks of Tulsa, his maternal grandmother Tisha Linn of Miami, his paternal grandmother Linda Scott of Big Cabin, paternal grandfather Ray Scott of Wyandotte, one niece Baleigh Dee Paige DeMoura, and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation for Mr. Scott will be 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami on Friday, April 28, 2017.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Braydon at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at First Assembly of God in Commerce with Reverend Howie Moss and Reverend Stan Miller officiating. Interment will follow at the Sixkiller Cemetery in Afton under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami.
Casketbearers will be Ashton Baker, Nathan Mason, Micah Baker, Dustin Ward, Brian Scott and Jacob Morris.
Honorary Casketbearers will be Ryan Perry, Jerrod Frost, Cody Scott and Larry McNeil.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be made in Braydon’s name to the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Foundation to be used for a nursing scholarship.
