Billie Marie Martin's Obituary
Billie Marie Martin, 85, a longtime resident of rural Bluejacket, OK, passed away early Sunday morning, November 22, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 1, 1930 in Afton, OK to Charles Hutchinson and Susie (Hawkins) Hutchinson. On August 7, 1951 , Billie married Boyd (Jack) Martin. He preceded her in death. She worked a number of years as a CNA at Rosewood Terrace in Vinita, OK. She was a loyal member of the Cornerstone Faith Mission of Bluejacket. She loved gardening, tending to her flowers, and most of all, spending time with her family. Billie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Donna Rames; and two brothers, Fred Dunkin and Bobby Hutchinson. She is survived by five daughters, Lori Martin of Bluejacket, Jeanie Ayres and husband Doug of Barnsdall, OK, Tooter Blevins and husband Ronnie of Bluejacket, Jo Winfrey and husband Sonny of Bluejacket, and Susan Luker and husband Shane of Portland, OR; two sons, Boyd Martin and wife Leta of Bluejacket, and Lloyd Martin wife Rita of Bluejacket; one brother, Wadie Huthinson of Bluejacket; two sisters, Charlotte Wade of Bluejacket, and Linda Collins and husband Jerry of Miami, OK; 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service honoring Billie will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the Cornerstone Faith Mission. Pastor Skip McClain and Pastor Carol Hopkins will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date.
