Beverly Darlene Callahan's Obituary
Beverly Darlene (Gott) Callahan, 93, a longtime resident of Prattville, Oklahoma, passed away in Afton, Oklahoma, on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Beverly was born on December 9, 1931, in Labette County, Kansas, to Dale and Viola (Ferguson) Gott. On November 24, 1951, she married the love of her life, Robert Callahan in Coffeyville, Kansas. Together they would spend over sixty years together. Beverly worked for over thirty years at Hissom helping with developmentally challenged children. She would retire as the supervisor. When she was not working, she enjoyed spending time outdoors tending to her flowers and garden. She was an animal lover, especially her cats and dogs. She also loved to travel. She enjoyed seeing the beauty of the United States National Parks. Beverly is preceded in passing by her parents, Dale and Viola Gott, husband, Robert Callahan, daughter, Christine Mary Ann Callahan, and brother, Dale Gott.
Those left to share the beautiful memory of Mrs. Callahan include her children, Joseph Partick Callahan and his wife Sandra of Broken Arrow, William Robert Callahan of Tulsa, and Rebecca McCraw and her husband Dennis of Bernice, Oklahoma, sister, Marjorie Chronister of Collinsville, grandchildren, Ryan McCraw, Robert McGraw, Jason Callahan, Amanda McGraw, and Dennis Eagles, great grandchildren include Corbin Clark and Tristin Eagles.
Cremation Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami. There will be a celebration of life for Mrs. Callahan at a later date.
