Betty L. St. Pierre's Obituary
Betty L. St. Pierre, 81, of Miami, OK, passed away Tuesday, July 4th, 2023, at Miami Nursing Center after a period of declining health.
She was born May the 22, 1942 in rural Welch, OK to Curtis Elmer Collins and Vona Opal (Monroe) Collins.
She was a graduate of Welch High School. She worked 27 years for Bell Telephone as a Technician. Her children were here greatest joy, and she cherished every moment with them. She was a member of the New Day Pentecostal Church in North Miami.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Anne Elizabeth David; a granddaughter, Jennifer Herd; and six siblings, William Curtis Collins, Peggy Olds, Viola Nadine Rothrock, Lorraine Tinsley, James E. Collins, and Glenda Darlene Haws.
She is survived by a son, John Phillip Herd of Belton, MO; three siblings, Larry Collins of Vinita, OK, Brenda Davis of Higginsville, MO, and Curtis Collins, Jr. of Tulsa, OK.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July the 10th, 2023 at Walker Cemetery, northwest of Welch.
