Betty Yvonne Harnar's Obituary
Betty Yvonne Harnar, 92, a longtime Miami resident passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Integris Miami Hospital. Betty was born on December 5, 1928 in Yale, Oklahoma to Fred C. and Velma Olive (Ervin) Rundell. Betty married the love of her life Denver Harnar early in life. She always enjoyed working; she worked for Crane Manufacturing, B.F. Goodrich Credit Union then worked for First National Bank for twenty-five years. She enjoyed her off time Crocheting, being with her shitzu and boxer dogs. Betty was always aware of the politics going on; she went to the Clinton Inauguration. The family describes that if you were at her house FOX News was on. After the passing of Denver, Betty married Jim Welch; they enjoyed a lot of traveling together. Betty was preceded in passing by her parents, Fred and Velma Rundell, her husband Denver Harnar, her husband Jim Welch, her brothers and sisters Rozeltha May Rundell, Clarence Rundell, Ida Alberta Smith, Carl Q. Rundell, Helen Rundell, and Francis Rundell.
Those who will share Mrs. Harnar’s memory are her son Rodney Harnar and his wife Opal, a step daughter Sharon Baumgartner and her husband Ron of Davis, California, her grandchildren Ronnie Harnar and his wife Amy, Ronda Forcum and her husband Chris , Tommy Hutchison and his wife Julie, Chad Starr and Justin Starr, her great grandchildren Cierra Diehr and her husband Josh, Samantha Daugherty, Briah Harnar, Jillian Forcum, Jenna Forcum, Katie Hutchison, Scott Hutchison and his wife Jamie, Savanna Hutchison, Hayley Amador and her husband Juan, Nickie Dingle, Jonnie Dingle and Jesse Starr, along with her great great grandchildren, Mia Sue Manner, Konnor Harnar, Kolesen Harnar and Camilla Yvonne Amador.
Services for Betty are 6:00 PM on Monday, October 4, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Miami with Reverend Geoff Buffalo officiating. Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
