Betty Lou Bridgewater's Obituary
Betty Lou Bridgewater, 76, of Miami passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at Windridge Care and Rehab. She was born on October 28, 1940 in Hooker, Oklahoma to Leonard and Lela (Ricketts) Lockhart. She worked as a waitress for many years around the Miami area, she also enjoyed working the cafeteria at B.F. Goodrich, she was known as a hard worker, she was a good cook, did everything she could for others, but, loved being a waitress. She married Robert Bridgewater, he preceded her in passing in July of 2004 she was also preceded in passing by her parents, a son Darrell Rector, a brother Travis Hamilton and a sister Donna Sanders.
Survivors include two sons Carl and Dale Rector, a brother Lauren Lockhart her grandchildren Christy Rector, Darrell Rector, Dreama Rector and Michael Rector along with several Great grandchildren.
Visitation was Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
Services are 2:00 PM Friday at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami. Interment will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
