Longtime Miami resident Mrs. Bernice V. Barnes passed into eternity peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday morning August 10, 2011 in Commerce, Oklahoma at the age of 95. Bernice was born in Watford City, North Dakota to he Read Obituary
Roger and I were classmates in high school and NEO. After that , I went on to OU and medical school while he headed of to OSU and vet school. Fortunately I got to see him again a couple years ago at our 50th high school reunion. I have many wonderful memories from a time when we had hair on our heads. Congratulations on a life well lived. Rest in peace old friend. My condolences to the family.

I had the honor of meeting Dr Parker when I moved here 3 years ago. To say he was a sweet, gentle soul is an understatement ! He made me and my dogs feel like we were his family! It truly hurt my heart to hear he had passed away. Prayers for his family! Until we meet again good bye Dr. Parker! Fly high
Dr. Parker was our vet for more than 20 years. We considered him family. He was an amazing vet but more importantly he was an amazing man giving, thoughtful and spreading happiness. We will never be able to fill the hole in our heart. Blessings to his family all of us.

I went to college at NEO with Roger and had classes with him. He was such a nice guy and always was pleasant and made you feel like you truly were a friend. My condolences to the family.

Best vet we ever had for all our cats. Been with him and Dr. Jay since they started. FANTASTIC MAN AND VET ! Always felt like a good friend. We had good conversations every time I was at the clinic. He will be greatly missed.

Thoughts and prayers to Suzy and family. I know how hard Roger battled to get better and what a testament to Suzy for being with him every step of the way.
