Barbara Jean Cullop's Obituary
Barbara J. Cullop, 83, a resident of Miami passed away at Higher Call Nursing Home in Quapaw on Sunday, December 15, 2013. She was born on July 18, 1930 in Anthony, Kansas to David and Fairy Irene (Spurgeon) Cooper. While living in Anthony Kansas she worked at different places but, Barbara found herself doing what she loved when she owned and operated her own restaurant. Mrs. Cullop was preceded in passing by her parents David and Fairy Cooper and her brothers and sister Irene Cooper, Bill Cooper, Ronnie Cooper, Gary Cooper, Dee Cooper and Charles Cooper.
Survivors include her daughter Connie Nirschl, of Miami, a sister Mildred Howerton, her grandchildren Brenda Arnold and Pam Nirschl both of Miami, along with her great grandchildren Amber Arnold, Megan Arnold, T.J. Arnold and Mathieu Nirschl and four great-great grandchildren.
Services are2:00 PM Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the Cooper Memorial Chapel at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami with Pastor Ron Eden officiating. Interment will follow at Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery.
