Aulcie Jean Sexton's Obituary
Aulcie Jean Sexton, 80, of rural Welch, Okla., passed away at her home on Saturday, May 13, 2017, after fighting a long illness. She was born January 6, 1937 in Sacul, Texas to Elton Joe Rawlinson and Ellen Mae (Gresham) Rawlinson. She was married to the love of her life, Dewey Sexton. Aulcie was the type of person that loved everyone. This was evident as she spent of number of years as a caretaker, caring for those no longer able to care for themselves. Her husband and children did the same for her, keeping her at home and caring for her needs in her final months. She loved to sew and crochet, making many items of clothing and afghans for her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Ricky Dean Eisenman; and three brothers, Sherman, Jerry, and Elton Rawlinson. She is survived by her loving husband, Dewey, of the home; three daughters, Vicki Smelley of Cushing, Texas, Maryanne Sexton-Green of Wyandotte, Okla., and JoEllen Steedman of Welch; one son, Michael Sexton of Miami; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Welch City Cemetery.
