Angela S Soward's Obituary
Angela “Breezy” Tuggle Damrill-Sowards, 70, passed away Thursday August 15, 2019 peacefully in her sleep at her home in rural Fairland Oklahoma.
Breezy was born on March 26, 1949 in Joplin, Missouri to H.L. “Mick” and Dollie (Mills) Tuggle, in Joplin MO. She graduated from Joplin High School in the class of 1967. She attended Missouri Southern State College before marrying Chester “Bud” Damrill in 1967. They divorced in 1989. She raised her four sons while their father served his country in the United States Navy for over 20 years. Because of her service to her family the boy’s father was able to serve our country. We will all be forever grateful to her for the men that she leaves behind. They are good men, they are her legacy. Breezy remarried for a brief time to Bill Sowards only to divorce and relocate back to the Midwest to reunite with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her youngest son Dakota Sky Damrill, who left us too soon on May 5th 2018.
Survivors include three sons, Dustin Damrill and wife Hollie of Columbus, Kansas, Brandon Damrill of Joplin Missouri, and Forest Canyon Damrill also of Joplin, Missouri, eleven grandchildren and five great granddaughters. She is also survived by a brother Dan Tuggle and wife Rosemary, of Topeka Kansas and their son Colin Tuggle and his wife Katie, of Minneapolis Minnesota and two great nephews. They, over the years, have been a pillar of strength and support for Angie “Breezy” and her sons.
