Allen J. Burton's Obituary
Allen J. Burton, 81, of Fairland passed away at the Miami Nursing Center on April 8, 2016. Mr. Burton was born on February 22, 1935 in Bennington, Oklahoma to Lou Allen and Winnie (Kato) Burton. He worked as a truckdriver and then a Railroad Track Master. He enjoyed fishing and Hunting. Allen was preceded in passing by his parents, his wife Betty J. Crandall.
Survivors include his children Dick Burton and his wife Joyce of Port Saint Lucy, Florida, Contee Becker of Wataga, Illinois and Dewey Dewitt Burton of Greenville, North Carolina, his brothers and sisters Adraith Morton, Sonney Burton, Barbara Burton, Aileen Stewert, Louise Robinson, Katherine Crase and Bote Burton. Four grandchildren Jamie Burton, Dusty Shirley, Crystal Constanino and Travis Burton along with twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild also survive.
