Alexander O'Brian Lee Stayton's Obituary
Alexander O'Brian Lee Stayton, 18, of Commerce, OK, passed away unexpectedly early Saturday, April the 11th, 2026, at Mercy Joplin.
He was born July the 8th, 2007, in Fayetteville, AR to Benny and Leslie (Chasten) Stayton. He was currently in his senior year of high school. He attended Vo-Tech for a time where he learned auto body repair.
He was employed at McDonald's. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4 wheelers, and working on cars. He was a member of C3 Worship Center in Commerce.
He is survived by his parents, Benny Stayton of Fayetteville, AR and Leslie Stayton of Commerce, OK; his fiancé, Jaelynn Pease and her son Colt Pease who he considered his stepson; Annie Olds, the mother of his son, Tyler James Alexander, who is due in five weeks; and his siblings, Lisa Comer of Springdale, AR, Rick Harter and wife Carrie of Commerce, OK, Elijah Patton and wife Wren of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Dominic, Gregory, and Cecil Stayton, all of the home; cousins, aunts, uncles, and lots of good friends.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April the 18th, 2026, at the C3 Worship Center in Commerce, Oklahoma. Pastor Ron Rabel will officiate. Burial will be private.
