Brad Michael Morgan

Brad Michael Morgan, 41, of Afton, Oklahoma, was surrounded by his family when he passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025. Brad was born on February 9, 1984, in Miami, Oklahoma to Arthur Jr. and Deanne (Landrum) Morgan. He graduated with the Class of 2002 at Afton High School. Brad married the love of his life whom he first met at the Ottawa County Fair when they were fifteen and sixteen, Cody J. Rhodes September 10, 2005, at Eastside Assembly of God in Miami. He worked at NEO A&M College for nineteen years before becoming a full-time farmer/rancher. Brad was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting and fishing and would often act as a guide for his family while fishing, deer hunting, turkey hunting, and pheasant hunting. There is nothing he loves more than the opening morning of a hunting season. If he and his family had free time, they were outside hunting or working on the land. His second joy was working the land and his cows. He was proud of his most recent farm purchase; he bought his first combine. He, Cody and their son Garret were members of Lonestar Baptist Church in Afton. Those left to cherish Brad’s memories are his wife Cody Morgan of the home, his son Garret Morgan of the home, his parents Art and Deanne Morgan of Afton, a sister Keri Ramsey and Chey of Fairland along with his niece Mesa Ramsey and nephews Dawson Ramsey and Carter Ramsey, his mother and father-in-law Kris and Gary Rhodes and a sister-in-law Nikki Roberts and her husband Eric, his nephew Bryant Roberts and Bentley Roberts of Vinita. Brad was an old soul, he loved nothing more than talking about equipment, farming and cattle. He will forever be in our hearts. There will be Private Graveside Services for Brad on the family farm. Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami. Casket Bearers will be Arthur Morgan, Gary Rhodes, Cody Lawson, Garret Morgan, Steve Grimes and Chey Ramsey. Honorary Casket Bearers will be Dale Boyd, Dawson Ramsey, Carter Ramsey, Chad Heaton, and Randy Kellogg.
