Zella A. Blevins Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Zella Aretha (Chandler) Blevins, passed away on July 31, 2022 at her home in Afton, Oklahoma surrounded by her family. Zella loved Afton and had lived there with her husband, Darrel Blevins for 60 years. Zella received a certificate for living in Ottawa County for 77 years. Zella worked at Wal-Mart over 32 years. Zella had 2 children, Retha Mattingly of Bernice and Randy Blevins and wife Tina of Locust Grove, 10 grandchildren, Jowestda Jessop of Afton, Daniel Isley and wife Shannon of Colorado, Dwight Isley and Helen of Colorado, Brandon Isley of Stillwater, Boone of Colorado, Justin Jessop of Broken, Oklahoma, Ransom Blevins and wife Mistie of Indiana, Alia Butler and husband Charles of Tulsa, Amber Lewis of Locust Grove and Jessica Kirk of Locust Grove, 10 great grandchildren Brinley, Ayden, Emma, Paxton, Kayden, Autumn, Parker, Annali, Tanner and Darius, a sister, Doris Lucky of Narcissa, a brother, Russell Chandler and wife Judy of Afton and many nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends. Zella was preceded in death by her parents, Lysle and Zelma Chandler, husband, Darrel Blevins, sisters, LaVerne Bickford and Mary Jane Smith. Visitation will be held 6:00 PM-8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the Brown-Winters Funeral Home of Afton. Services for Zella will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at the Trinity Southern Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery.
