Ronald Irving Grover

January 28, 1941 - October 2, 2020

Ronald “Ron” Irving Grover seventy-nine-year-old Miami, Oklahoma Resident passed away Friday October 2, 2020. Ron was born on January 28, 1941 in Monterey Park, California to Percy and Lucy (Pyett) Grover. After high school Ron proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He would work for many years as a manager of a United Methodist Church camp and later become the groundskeeper for Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. Ron was an avid gardener who above all enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren’s sports activities. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Larry and Rick. Ron is survived by his wife Margaret of the home, three sons, Paul Grover and wife Liz of Miami, Oklahoma, David Grover of Coos Bay, Oregon, and Jason Grover of Miami, Oklahoma, a daughter Michele Bolton and husband Mike of Miami, Oklahoma, and two sisters Ronda and Carrie. Ron is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A visitation for friends and family will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday October 4, 2020 at the Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
