Maraba J. Graham

July 17, 1921 - May 6, 2022

Maraba J. Graham, 100, a lifetime area resident passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Integris Miami Hospital. Maraba was born on July 17, 1921 in Vinita, Oklahoma to Leonard and Lucy (Allen) Hood. She married the love of her life Charley Graham on October 4, 1938 in Vinita. She was the picture of a homemaker, she loved to can from the garden and working outside on the farm, but also loved to Sew and crochet for many years when she had some quiet time. Mrs. Graham was preceded in passing by her parents Leonard and Lucy Hood, her husband Charley Graham, a son Ernie Graham and his wife Anna, a daughter Linda Nehring, a sister Margaret Hood and a brother George Hood. Those left to carry on Maraba’s 100-year long legacy are her son Gary Graham, a son in law Rex Nehring, grandchildren Rhonda Morgan and her husband Kevin, Randy Graham and his wife Lea, Terry Graham and his wife Stephanie, Tricia Shinaway and her husband Mario, Kelly Cain and her husband Brad, Lori Graham and Megan Blackerby and her husband Josh, ten great grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. There will an all-day viewing from 12 noon until 8:00 PM on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami. Graveside services are Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery in Miami with Minister Leon Weece officiating.
