Laura Cox

Laura Leann Cox, 51, a lifetime Fairland resident passed away at her home on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Miss Cox was born on July 16, 1970 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Wiley and Oma (Bennett) Cox. She graduated with the Class of 1988 in Fairland. Laura knew her cattle!! She had a brilliant mind, for everything, but, she knew every cow and their leniage and remembered every detail. Laura was preceded in passing by her parents Wiley and Oma Cox, a brother Samuel Cox, and a brother-in-law Bradley Kamolz. Survivors include her siblings and their spouses Joyce Golden and James Oakley of Fairland, Mike Cox and his wife Denice of Fairland, Judy Upton and her husband Dale of Oklahoma City, her nieces and nephews Jason Golden and his wife Erica Woodward, Justin Hill of Fairland, Misty Ellison and her husband Marcus, Jerod Hill of Fairland, Kenton Kamolz and his wife Kayla of Woodward, Jacob Kamolz and his wife Sarah of Moore, and Travis Kamolz of Bixby, her great nieces and nephews Stran Golden, Cooper Ellison, Case Ellison, Breckyn Ellison, Emaline Kamolz, Kade Kamolz, Hannah Kamolz, Weston Kamolz, Anna Kamolz, Kierston Scott and Kase Scott. Also surviving are Bobby Scott and his wife Katrisha whom the family consider to be adopted in the family. There will be visitation from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland. Graveside services are 11:00 AM, Friday, April 22, 2022 at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Grove with Reverend Wayne Wall officiating. Interment is under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland.
