Carl D. Ray

February 15, 1958 - December 30, 2021

Carl D. Ray, 63, passed early Thursday morning, December 30, 2021, peacefully in his sleep and slipped into the arms of the Lord. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Miami, Oklahoma. Carl was born February 15, 1958 in Ridgecrest, California to Frank Ray an JerryLou Walsh-Ray. He later lived in Antlers, Oklahoma with his dad Frank and Step-mom Sonia before finally settling in Miami, Oklahoma. Carl would later meet his beloved wife, Debbie Ray, which he shared three children and twelve grandchildren. Carl had worked at Willow Crest Hospital before retiring. He was an avid fisherman. His passion was on the lake accompanied by his fishing buddies. He was a kind hearted loving man who would help anyone he could. He is preceded in death by his mom JerryLou Walsh-Ray, dad Frank Ray, sister-in-law Joan Gaches-Lindemier, and several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Carl is survived by his wife, Debbie Ray of Miami, Oklahoma; children, Melissa Pittman-Kidwell of Athens, Texas, Jon Pittman and spouse Angie of Miami, Oklahoma, Steven spouse Crystal of Independence, Missouri. His Grandchildren, Shylena, Emily, Ethan, Teanna, Joey, Dillion, Harley, Sammie, Hailey, Eric, Diamind, and Gavin. His step-mom Sonia Ray. His sisters, Helen Struther of Antlers, Oklahoma, Debbie Ray of Boron, California, sister-in-law Elaine Wagner of Miami, Oklahoma, brother-in-law, Mike and Elizabeth Wagner of Lexington, Kentucky and numerous cousins. There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, March 12th, 2022 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Miami, Oklahoma at 1 P.M. Carl will be greatly missed by everyone.
