Bruce Madison Mangum Jr., 68, a resident of Miami passed away at his home on Thursday, January 16, 2020. Bruce was born on July 28, 1951 in Miami, to Bruce Sr. and Lillie Mae (King) Mangum. Bruce lived most of his life in the Quapaw and Commerce area before moving to Miami. In his life he enjoyed playing guitar, listening to his favorite records, woodworking, drawing, golfing, fishing, camping, hiking, and traveling. Above all, he cherished family and friends. Mr. Mangum was preceded in passing by his parents Bruce and Lille Mangum, and two brother in law’s Fred Payne and C.R. Scott. Family members left to carry on his legacy are his daughters Brandi Vasey and her husband Brandon of Wyandotte, Bessie Hall and her husband Trey of Fairland and Brenda Mangum of Oklahoma City, his grandchildren Grace Goins of Fairland, Blake Vasey of Wyandotte and Tucker Hall of Fairland, his sisters Sherrie Turner and her husband Joe of Quapaw, Mary Payne of Quapaw, his brother Barry Mangum and his wife Charise of Quapaw along with many nieces and nephews.
