Virginia Lee Weigl

Virginia Lee Weigl of Fairland went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Leisure Living in Miami with her husband by her side. Virginia was born on November 26, 1930 in Wyandotte, Oklahoma to Ira Louis and Jennie Ellen (Blankenship) Crow. She graduated from High School with the Class of 1948 in Fairland; she went to State Business College in Miami and received a Secretarial School Certificate. January 28, 1952 at the United Methodist church in Miami Virginia married John Richard Weigl. She and John lived in several places as he was in the Military. This led to her employment at Coolerator Company in Duluth, Minnesota, US Air Force, Transportation Command at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska, Also Assistant to the Inspector General at the Alaskan TriService Command in Anchorage and then Jorgenson Steele in Tulsa. Mrs. Weigl was preceded in passing by her parents Ira and Jennie, her siblings Louise Irene Crow Greninger Carver and Wilbur Louis Crow, along with her nieces and nephews John Greninger, Peggy Ellen Greninger, Larry Greninger (Twin) and Garry Greninger (Twin). Surviving family are her husband of sixty-six years John Weigl of the home, Nephews and nieces; Jerry Samuel Greninger, Kenny Carver, Leslie Greninger, Jennie Lynn Carver, Lonnie Leroy Carver, Jr., Connie Carver, Dean Carver, Cathy Carver Redden, Carol Jean Crow, Steve Crow, Sharon Crow Forest, Terry Crow and his wife Julie, Great nieces Megan Woods and Tara Donatelli and great great niece Paton Woods. Visitation will be Friday, June 22, 2018 from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church in Fairland with Reverend Shannon Rodenberg officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairland Cemetery under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland. Casketbearers will be Dewayne Langley, John Butler, John McFerron, Argyle Hill, Alan Loehr and Jakob Butler. The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church in Fairland.
