Mark Shawn Chisholm

Mark Shawn Chisholm, a resident of Monkey Island passed away at his home on Monday, October 8, 2012, he was forty-five. Mark was born on May 24, 1967 in Olean, New York to Earle Raymond and Katherine Florence (Jobe) Chisholm. Mark was a former assistant manager of the Tractor Supply Store in Miami, Oklahoma. Growing up, Mark was all boy and fearless. He was an altar boy at St. Pacificus, in Humphrey, New York. He loved life and spending time with his siblings and family. He loved to play street football, croquet, lawn darts, and basketball. Mark was musically gifted and enjoyed playing the valve trombone, baritone, piano, and sliding trombone at home and for the marching band in school. Mark was a huge fan of the Buffalo Sabers, St. Bonaventure Bonnies, and most of all the Buffalo Bills. Mark always had a smile on his face and a soft spot for animals and children. He was well loved and will be dearly missed. Survivors include his wife of the home, Leah Baker, children, Cameron Scheib and Ashton Trescott. Special buddy Ryan of Pennsylvania, along with his brothers and sisters families, Robert Earle Chisholm and his wife Joan, Dennis Lee Chisholm and his wife Sandy, Terry Michael Chisholm and his wife Teresa, Kathy Anne Goff and her husband Ray, Susan Eileen Mangan and her husband Mike, Thomas Kevin Chisholm, Anne Marie Studd and her husband Ron, Janice Marie Horne and her husband John, Jeanne Marie Schloesser and her husband Dale, and Gregory Paul Chisholm and his partner Shawn Howard. Mark has a large number of nieces and nephews that were a huge part of his life and heart. There will be a visitation at the Guenther Funeral Home in Olean, New York on Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Mass Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Monday, October 22, 2012 at Saint Mary of the Angels Church, also in Olean, New York. The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Oklahoma State Bank, 26551 Highway 125, Monkey Island, Ok 74331, Mark Chisholm Memorial Fund.
